Ruffles are myyyyyy weakness, seriously y’all. Endless Rose is starting to release their spring collection and I neeeeeed this dress. Of course it has ruffles, I’m embarrassed. It would be perfect for a spring/summer wedding later this year. Best part? It’s only $75. Now back to this outfit, because well… warm weather is still a couple months away. I haven’t purchased much this winter, because quite frankly I haven’t really loved anything…. until I laid my eyes on these shoes. I know I know, they’re different but that’s part of my obsession with them. They’re really comfortable, and I have no problem walking through the city in them.

This is the first week of two posts in foreverrrrrr. I don’t know what happened, but I definitely got into a funk ever since November/December. As most of my close friends and family know, I had a really rough end of 2016. I cried probably everyday for multiple months, but it brought me sooo much closer to some of my friends and I can’t thank them enough. I think I started to process everything and come to turns with it all in late November and early December, and then all I wanted to do was spend time with my friends so my blog definitely took a back burner. I also had some very intimate family issues happening, which caused me to push my personal feelings aside and help my family. I’m definitely on the “up hill” now, and I think I’m finally just happy again. Ya know that feeling? It feels really really nice. Betsy, Anna, Brittany, and Amanda- thank you for loving me and supporting me through probably the roughest months of my life. Emily and Laura- thank you for hanging out with me whenever I asked, listening to my many vent sessions, and keeping me busy. I know my blog is supposed to highlight my fashion and travel endeavors, but I like to keep it real with y’all!
