Today I’m teaming up with one of my fav blogger babes Brittany from Tilley’s Threads (we actually went to high school together!) for a Galentine’s date. Best part? We did it all for less than $20! Valentine’s Day doesn’t mean you have to have a man in your life to feel loved! Grab your closest girlfriends for a ‘gal’entine’s date. A potluck dinner with some fancy drinks is the way to go. I would ideally host it on February 12th so then y’all could go see How to Be Single which is released that day! Not to rub it in if you are single (or you may not be single), but that movie just looks so so good. Plus, I seriously doubt your boyfriend or hubs will want to see that movie. Chick flick? Probs not.
We bought almost everything from the dollar store, but also incorporated a couple of things that we already owned. Surprisingly The Dollar Tree doesn’t sell any of their Valentine’s Day supplies online, so I’ve linked very, very similar items from Target.
Yesterday was my nurse anniversary, so I’ve officially been a nurse for a year. How have I survived?… noooo clueeee. You truly don’t know how many crazy people exist in the world until you work in the medical field. Some of my stories are ridiculous… you just can’t make it up! *I shake my head as I remember quit a few stories right now*
